3D modeling » Модель - самолеты / Breakthrough Technology In Aviation

Following is the direct translation of the audio: (Brief demonstration of applying the new technology onto the surface : evenly smoothing out and heating the covered area) Everything started from this one thing: (in the tube) Ive created a special polymeric mass, once in contact with humidity in the air it becomes poly-retanic mousse, once covered the surface can easily be worked on in order to achieve a smooth and even surface of the shape. The result is a very light and even piece. It all began when I was making plane models for the group that I teach aviation, I had to use very dry and light wood material, which is quite tough horizontally (the example of wood snaps) but it splits very easily vertically. Once covered with my special polymeric mass, its qualities change, the worked material becomes flexible and tough, however maintaining its initial lightness (in weight). This composition is damp-proof and water-proof too. I got an idea to make a model wing for a glider, we used to make gliders wings from fibreglass material, this wing (white & orange) for example, is made from fibreglass and its quite heavy weighing around 900g. Model airplanes and gliders made using fibreglass are very heavy, and it takes a long time for them to become air-borne, in good weather conditions they fly very fast, and that causes a lot of complications during flying competitions. Using exactly the same measurements I re-created the wing, this time using my new technology and this wing (orange & blue) weighs only 250-300grammes. Its surface is perfectly smooth and the wing is tough and flexible, and so the models should fly more easily (made using my technology). A glossy surface can be achieved when using a oriented film, which also toughens. Because it is durable in heat, it can be painted in various colours, despite the heat radiation from the Sun. It can take up to +300C. You can use the polymer to putty up various parts, it maintains its lightness even when covered with quite a thick layer. This way a perfectly smooth surface is achieved prior to painting, which is practically impossible to do without using the polymeric putty. Both inside and out surfaces of the parts are covered in order to make it tough. I am constructing a personal airplane using this technology, I made a navigation wheel (large orange wing) and it weighs only 950grammes, also I made the front stabilisation part, the whole thing weighs 1 kilo and 700grammes. It contains all of the components that are used with regular construction, and a tough and perfectly smooth surface. I used the same technology in order to make the aircraft wing; It is cut out using designed blueprints, then covered with the polymeric putty (inside and out) and this one piece (large, white) weighs around 1 kilo 600grammes, this part (another large, white) also weighs around the same. So in this case, the whole life-size (2 people carrier) aircraft wing weighs around 3 kilos. (Demonstrates the strength of the part by standing up on it!) Covering both inside and outside with the polymer creates an effect of one tube inside the other, doubling the break-resistance. (demonstrates the construction of the aircraft wing by placing the parts next to the body of the plane). It is possible to make a laminated aircraft wing that is very light, tough, durable and quite cheap in its qualities. Working with this technology is 25 - 30 times cheaper than working with fibreglass, for example. In the future, I believe that this technology will replace most of the known technologies regularly used today. This was my presentation to you briefly explaining the possibilities of my invention. Perhaps your company is interested in cooperation with obtaining a patent and furthering the development. Thank you.
