 Mission control is a new feature in Mac OS X Lion from Apple. This new feature allows you to organise your windows into desktops, and allows you to easily switch between different windows fast. Mission control is exposé and spaces put together with a new refined look. It tightly integrates exposé and spaces to provide an easy to use and efficient window organisation system. There are some disadvantages however. Apple decided to group windows from the same application together. This sounds like a good idea, but it isn't in reality. Windows from the same application overlap each other A LOT, and therefore you can't see the contents of a window that is behind another from the same application. In this video I give you an in depth demo of the most important features of Mission Control, and give you my verdict as to if the feature is welcome in Mac OS X Lion, and how it adds to the Mac OS X experience overall. |
