 www.pclinuxos.com -- Full Review 52 Mins, Introduction is about 29mins, if you want to skip it to the live session at 29 mins in the video go for it, i just talk about pclinuxos where it came from what its about showing their website features and all that nice stuff.. if u want to watch the whole thing go for it :] and you might learn something maybe who knows .... but i think its a good review :] so enjoy , i took some time in doing this so i hope you people like it.  Here we have the last of the instalments of pclinuxos, and this one is the openbox version and i like it a lot, even though this one has not been updated just yet but im sure it wont be too long before it gets the treatment, the d/l is still nearly 700mb but hey,it has to be done sometimes....dozo!! |

 Now here is another pclinuxos version, but this time with lxde as the desktop, and it's mighty fine too, this one came out about a month ago but it's still super fine, whatch the video and see what you think....super. |

 This the new release from pclinuxos as their xfce version and compared to the last one this is so more stable and usable and it looks really cool too, it comes with all the usual pclinuxos stuff and some others but does not come with a full or even any office suite, but there is a libre office download manager to get it and it does still fit on a cd. i did install abiword just to make sure synaptic works fine and it does, although i did get some errors but they did not seem to bother the os really. so if you want something different from the rest of the pack that normally works out of the box, i would thoroughly recommend it...monster.!! |

 Now here is the latest version of pclinuxos and i must say this is the best one i have ever tried, as it does it all without any questions or anything. i have used it as my own os for about 3 days without fault and i do thoroughly recommend it. i have had problems in the past with other flavours of pclinuxos but with this one it all runs smoothly without a hitch. but i will wait for some of the other flavours to arrive before i make my final judgement, but on the whole the KDE version always worked better anyway.so at the end of the day if you want something that just works out of the the box for most hardware, give PClinuxOS a go, you have nothing to worry about, it's live too...monster |
